"Flight of the Dragons" (1982) is another movie, I think. I never got to watch it all the way through. :(

But, really? No pay? I don't think that the majority of dragon slayers of days of yore did it just for yuks. Usually, if not money, then the hand of a fair maiden was involved in the deal. (According to all the stories anyway). ::facepalm::

And I really don't understand why it's okay for one dragon to be there and not the other. :wtf:

The whole reason people used to hunt dragons is because humans moved too close to their lairs and the dragons would hunt in the area that is now filled with livestock. So knight hunts dragon at request of village usually for pay, might make a butt load of extra if the dragon has a horde. Those were the most common dragon hunting requests.
