Starfire--it IS orange!!!!! How can that be in a black and white print????!!!!!!.......... :skull:

I am sure that whoever made the image black & white (probably done in Photoshop) masked the color for the skull and spell book back into the image for effect/draw attention to those items. As a graphic designer, I see this happen quite a bit when customers want attention drawn to a specific item because your eye will notice the color since everything else is in black and white :)

That very well could be, it is just interesting I thought to see that and since no one had said anything about it I thought I would ask, because it was eye catching and wondered why , and thought that somehow the energy from both of those items, just seemed to come through somehow!!!!

Yeah there are a number of methods that can be used to keep an item or area of a photo colour while the rest is black and white, I have done some work like this myself, some just turn the whole pic black and white then paint the colour back in where they want it, not the most effective way but it's probably the quickest.
