He's heeere! He brings TONS of happy energy to the table. This should be fun.

The latest: I placed an order for Mazou, not being sure if it would entail one horse or a herd. Turns out that it's a herd. I don't know what the "normal" number of Mazou is when a person places an order, but in my case, eight Mazou horses are now here. They are very supportive and protective.

Oh, and I can't believe I forgot to put in a mention of one other TEC order: an Oracle Horse.

Yeah, we have lotsa Equines here. I can't afford to have a flesh-and-blood horse, but at least I can enjoy the company of spirits.

Do you ever wonder if you've lived a past life as a horse? Surely with horses, but perhaps also as a horse. The kind of connection you have might be indicative of that.

I received a non-human past lives reading from CH and was told I lived as an Arabian Horse. So that's fun.

I hadn't thought to do that. Now you've got me curious. There are some types of animals that I feel a really strong connection to, even though I haven't had the opportunity to have them in my life. If I've ever spent some time AS one, that would explain why they resonate with me.

I was also a Mountain Lion, apparently.. which is funny because the epicness of the mountain lion makes it's way into a lot of my fantastical anecdotes..

On Fridays, I work with a deaf-blind friend of mine as an aide. He lives with his mom. This weekend, a mutual friend, also deaf-blind (actually, deaf with low vision) is visiting. When she comes to town, The four of us (the friends, the mom, and I) like to go to a local racino (casino/racetrack), to play penny slot machines and make little bets on the horses. Nobody wins much, and nobody loses much, but it's a nice day out.

Well, the harness racing doesn't happen in the winter. My friend's mom was under the impression that the racing resumes sometime in May. So I took her word for it and didn't research it further. Off we went to at least play in the casino. Penny slots, here we come, lol.

So when I took a quick break to hit the ladies' room, suddenly I heard my Karkadann. "Why aren't you asking about the horses?" I normally query my Equines about which horse will come in, and then bet $2 to show on the one they tell me. I think the last time I did this, I came out of the day with an extra $6.80. I told him, "The racing doesn't resume until May." He looked at me funny, but said nothing.

Fast-forward an hour or so. Now, the four of us are sitting in a restaurant at the casino. I decided to use my cell phone to look up when the racing starts again. So I track down the casino's website and find... that the racing resumes on March 27. I exclaimed, "Oh, shoot! Racing resumed TODAY! We missed it!"

I thought back to the Karkadann's question, and realized that the races were still in progress when he asked me why I wasn't seeking Equine advice. I should have checked for the date that races resumed right then, and not waited until we were sitting down to eat. Drat, drat, drat. Oh, well. At least we know the racing is back NOW. Next time the four of us are together, we can go.

I have a herd of smart-aleck Equines who are trying to convince me that the upcoming EQUINox is actually a holiday in their honor. :lol: :crazy:

I think I should make it a "Dote on the Equines" day anyway, though.

Hm... I just got 'adopted' by Mazou. It was a bogo reverse adoption. If the Mazou is one single horse, I'm having 14 spirits coming my way ( I ordered 6, but got 6 bogo's + bonus+ one of the wishlist) but if it's a herd... well this is going to be a lot :p I'll see when the enveloppe gets in my mailbox -)
