dose anyone know if these to names
are names for the same being?
I was just reading up on Laxmi and the name Lakshmi keeps coming up I want to check and see if anyone else knows anything about these too.

Yes both names are of the same being. She is the Goddess of wealth in hinduism. The consort of Vishnu - the preserver.
