Pretty much this. Putting aside the fact that alphas are well-developed and finely tuned. They have a plethora of built-in safety feature/protocols and are stress tested and monitored for a period of time before being released to a keeper. dlm does a lot of quality assurance to make sure that type of thing doesn't happen.

Going rogue, violating their original purpose probably. Which mostly happens when they decide they want to go on and not fade away if they don't get enough energy. Won't happen with alphas since they are getting energy, they don't need to become feeders. And of course the safety features already mentioned. Including a self destruct in certain cases.

Ahhh....Ok, safety features to help keep them mentally/energetically stable...seems good.

Now onto my second question: what would the alphas do if they where in a situation where the owner of the alpha was abusing them a lot? (Im not going to do this (not getting an alpha), nor would I have a good opinion of anyone who did, Im just wondering what would happen)

Walk away, just like any entity or spirit would do.

Suggestion don't think of Alphas like servitors they might be created but they are much more

I mean, I understand they are more advanced than any servitor some of us could make, maybe even better than anyone in the world could make, seeing as how they have free will, a capacity to learn, and a capacity to adapt...but they are still refered to as servitors on the site of DLM, who makes them....

They are created, yes, but with free will. Servitors can be created in a number of ways.
Yes, if they were custom created. But they are able to learn new stuff, decide they like it better, etc.
Servitors just say they're artificially created, not that they need to be purely automatons.
