Just scored this ancient vampire type from CH! Sounds amazing, and I am hoping he can tell me about deserts that used to be lush and hydrated. He lived in the desert and preyed on other life to rob them of their water. In fact, my water dragon,K., is quite uncomfortable at the mention of him! He obviously recognizes the species! It sounds kind of like that Star Trek episode where the creature drained beings of the salt in their body, only he absorbs water. Cannot wait to talk with him!

When I first received my aqua vampire, I trickled some fresh water over his vessel and felt an almost amorous vibe from him - I believe a passionate connection created based on that drive and primal hunger. I've also noticed a greater satiety when drinking water myself, that makes me feel more alert and grounded among the elements.

I remember the Star Trek episode. The need for water and to preserve it at all costs also reminds me of Dune by Frank Herbert.
