Magickal Menagerie has this type of djinn, called Midori. They are healers and sound interesting.
Does anyone have experience with them?

Well, midori does mean "green" in Japanese, and that's all I know:)

Hm, I wonder if it is a type of Japanese spirit then? Or Japanese djinn?darkwing wrote:Well, midori does mean "green" in Japanese, and that's all I know:)

I imagine they're using it as a descriptor. Djinn are not Japanese in the slightest, so it's an interesting name to add to them. Midori does in fact mean 'green', so it may be MM's fancy way of writing "Green Djinn". Green tends to be a color associated with healing, so I can see where the label comes from.

Hi! You should ask mm what Midori is. Only they would know. They usually respond within a week on their Facebook.

Hah yeah, Djinn aren't Norse either but yet some people sell them, lol.MoonSpiritBoutique wrote:I imagine they're using it as a descriptor. I suspect "djinn," "jinn," or "genie" are used to describe "helpful spirits" from other cultures (such as some alfar and jotnar could be in Norse lore).
Which makes me wonder if this is like a helpful Asian spirit, since it says, "The beautiful Midori Jinn is a huge symbol of wealth and well-being."
True, but I was more wondering if anyone here had experiences to share. I may get one in the future.furrybunny wrote:Hi! You should ask mm what Midori is. Only they would know. They usually respond within a week on their Facebook.

I have one from her but healing is not his specialty. He's a sweetie but I only worked with him for a few weeks.
