I did a search and only saw a few mentions of males.
Do many people have them? Are they not as common?

I dreamt of a male kitsune, and it really stuck out to me. The cat-lady dreaming of a fox?? lol
I don't have any fox spirits and haven't looked at any images or anything dealing with foxes really.
It was like an introduction - I saw what he looks like in humanoid form with fox ears and tail (he seemed to only have one tail or else they were hidden behind his Japanese robes). I was given a name too, with "Fox" tacked onto the end, as if to say "hey I'm not a cat." lol

I think I'll try the CC kitsune listing from CH to see if they can find him.
It was very surprising and curious though; I wonder what our relationship will be.
I usually don't put much stock into my dreams because of the medication I take. But I think I dreamt of my Siren that night too. All I saw was his tan torso, lol. It was like the rest of him was in shadows.

The tails not important. Sometimes they just show random number 1-9 tails but ofcourse tails tells the power. If he comes to you in dream which mean he already there.

There are males. I have never met 1 myself. However it is believed in Japan that a Kitsune be they male or female can take both male and female human forms. So they tales of Kitsune turning in2 beautiful women 2 seduce men need not always mean the said Kitsune itself was female.

The fox is sometimes called the 'cat like dog' so it is not to far fetched that one would reach out to you, at least to me.

I have a male kitsune. He reverse adopted me. It really came out of the blue, because I'd never even considered one. He is adorable, but very DA and fond of messing with my cell phone. XP
