I recommend Twisted, by Andrew E. Kaufman.
It is reasonably dark, and very twisted. It is about a psychiatrist with his new patient, a serial murderer who targets young girls.

This book is very mind warping.
It will wring your thoughts and blow your mind.

I really thought i was going crazy reading this. Thats how excellent it is!

That book is none of this. Sorry hehe.
I wish i can give some other suggestions but I dont read romance, and the fantasy book im currently reading is not dark enough <

A Song of Ice and Fire series from George RR Martin. I love the books. Be warned though: your favorite characters are possibly going to die.

And the His Dark Materials series by Phillip Pullman starting with the Golden Compass, the Subtle Knife, and ending with the Amber Spyglass. Really great series!

I cant say enough how much it should be read.

Unless there's a clarification on how dark your talking my sister's not going to help with recommendations so the two I menchened are the only one I can think of that would fit to a existent.The last apprentice is about a boy in the era of witch triles that is taken in by a spook as they're called in this to learn the trade being the 7th son of a 7th son to combat dark forces.

The other that's not as dark but has it's moments that's about the life of a house cat that learns to live with a wild cat tribe and continues showing his life afterwards.Both are good books that are a series and from what I've read are the only things I'd consider as both dark and fantasy.I didn't think it was dark but artemis foul is a good fantasy one(I think it's classifys as fantasy)with a intresting take on the world of magical beings.

So thoughs are my recommendations but the last apprentice would be more of what your asking but the other two are good reads as well.Haven't gotten around to reading the other books of them but the first books are good. hope this helps.

I really like dark like gothic tone stories and I also really like bloody gore, and explicit sex scenes, and drugs and alcohol and some disturbing scenes every now and again those sort of things as well but it doesn't matter how dark it gets honestly just a dark book that you believe is interesting and good

I actually heard of this but I don't know much about it but I'll be sure to keep this one in mind as well 1tu
