please stop the cart from emptying

It's really difficult to shop and place notes and whatever, and take some time to think about what I want to get each time, when the frakkin' cart keeps emptying after maybe an hour or two.
At least give us 24 hours or something. Oftentimes I can't finish my shopping in one sitting, and I may revisit the shop over and over to check new arrivals or rethink the bindings I want.
Then it all gets dumped and I just throw my hands up and say forget it. >.<

Also please fix the bogo problem, they hardly ever work and it contributes to the extra time spent adding and deleting items to the cart. Then to come back and find it all gone... ugh.

That's not a bug or something to fix.

It's standard in shop for security reason, i wont explain here because it's getting real technical but it's more of a "feature".

Ah, I get the same thing. I'm setting things in my cart and adding notes and I go to another page in the shop and my cart is COMPLETELY empty.

also, when there's only one of an item and you put it in your cart it goes "out of stock"

Maybe the cart-emptying feature is in place because someone could, conceivably, load up with a slew of one-of-a-kind items, blocking everyone else from accessing them. And then if the OOAK items were to stay in the cart indefinitely, the folks who were positive they wanted those items wouldn't be able to buy them.

Well it didn't use to be that way. And the time it takes to empty varies - it could be 20 minutes, an hour, or a day. It's really random.
I understand the possibilities of people hogging items, and that's not my intent, but at the same time if I get interrupted I'd like to come back where I finished, at least within 24 hours.
It takes a lot of work and time to get the purchase just right, manually entering notes and bogos, waiting for the site to load, etc. I shouldn't have to keep re-entering it over and over just because I had to walk away for a short time.

They could just make it so that items in the cart aren't reserved or only reserved for 30 minutes once in the cart, assuming that was their concern. Most sites let whoever checks out first with the item get it so maybe that would be best.

I think it would be more convenient to be able to keep items in the cart because many people are probably waiting for the next sale or promo that they like which could be a few days or weeks away. Just get rid of the reserving items once in the cart. I like to add 1 or 2 items at a time when new items come out and check out once I reach the $50/$100 or more thresholds for freebies before checking out.

What I do, is I add all that I want to the wish list, and from there, when I go to buy things, I add the things I want from my wish list,
To my cart, then checkout

I haven't experienced this, but then again I probably haven't been logged into the store long enough. I'd say I spend a max of 15mins browsing and that's mostly because I don't want to over spend or risk buying something I don't actually need. I get in and get out, lol. If I see anything that grabs my attention I add it to my cart, login, and checkout pretty much right away.
