There are a lot of posts I've noticed over time exhibiting doubt or pessimism regarding this path, or their ability, given an inability to sense, experience, manifest, etc. Rather than derail another thread I thought I'd make this it's own.

Belief is a supporting element of personal investment, necessitating an evolution of self.

Many rely so heavily on practitioners to conduct miracle services for them that they forget how important it is to find their own edge, angle, dynamic, skill and experience.
While there are undoubtedly powerful magick/spirits/infusions etc, one should not expect them to be consistent in and of themselves for evident manifestation or functionality; when they are it needs to be taken as a wondrous thing meriting great appreciation, and in that instance you take every opportunity to encourage greater development.

Many may deem them failures if they don't function or manifest the way they expect, when the reason for that so commonly lies in one's personal lack of openness (this being an openness of perception which will allow it to align, for a comprehension or connection - even small - that could lead somewhere greater).
Not that a service shouldn't be expertly conducted in such a way to aid and encourage the individual, some are and some aren't, but a certain amount and level of responsibility still lies with the individual to find the sweet spot where they can take advantage.. and what it takes differs for each person.

An issue still remains when persons abide exclusively with whatever generic advice is out there - refusing to take personal initiative, or surrender to what the completely unknown must reveal to them in order for progression.. You have to find your way and that only arrives with devotion to your potential, if not a predisposal to it.

Magick and spirits meet us part of the way - more or less based on various factors, we meet them the rest - based on whatever we need to get there, that's what makes for manifestation or more importantly the discernment of manifestation. If you don't know what's in your way or what is necessary to get to the next step, it's hard to push very far until you find it. A lot of people find it by happy accident, but it's rarely without active engagement of the path you are on.

Noc I've just started reading 'The Way to Higher Worlds' by Rudolph Steiner. Your words sum up succinctly the first few chapters of the book. I'm blown away by the synchronicities!!!!!!!!!!

The book does explain in detail several exercises that can be done to improve our abilities. I would recommend it to anyone struggling with their capabilities. It's available as a free pdf.

Belief as a conduit is a very sound perspective, I myself have my own troubles in the path of spiritual realization and do agree with this. Nice post Noc.
