Looking for a positive intention to come at 2017 with as a mantra while I work my new Aset mala. (I know mala and mantras aren't so much with the Kemetic, but it's a very effective connection and working tool for me.)

So, what do I want to try to manifest with a Mother Goddess this year?

I'm definitely going to have some spells and workings that are not all goodness and light, but I want to do my part to make our 2017 the best we can in spite of the apparent odds. And I know that where I set my focus is what will manifest, so I'm looking for that prayer to pray all the way around my beautiful new mala.

When I say "mantra," I do mean in English. I want to be very connected and direct with my working. I want to do it with respect for Aset's agenda in mind as I get to know Her and enter into this devotional relationship I had been considering with her for the last year+. I also want to keep a vision of well-being for both the American and global problems facing us in the year(s) ahead.

So, "prayer" is probably a better word than "mantra," but I'll be working my way around the mala and learning from Aset to refine my understanding of what She wants as I go. I'm having a hard time coming up with a starting point, though.

Hmm maybe writing out your prayers and what you want could help for your starting point
