House Rules For White Arts Vs Dark Arts

Do you have different house rules for your white arts spirit than you have for your dark arts spirits?

What kind of rules do you have for your spirits? 1h

I make my house rules strict in the first place, so both white and darks arts should follow them without feeling like their treated differently or even abused rule wise. Idk, just how I've always been.

I handle it the same. Same rules for WA and DA. They're not very strict, but cover the basics, like "don't hurt anybody" and "don't do the touchy stuff without permission"

Due to my... "unusual" family model with a hierarchy (I've got a trustworthy substitute for me in the astral and two more, if something happens to one of us to keep the order upright) nothing happened so far and everyone's happy.

That's some pretty good advice from you all, I'm glad creepy hollows has the forums so that spirit and entity keepers have a place to go to ask questions and get advice about this kind of stuff..

I think I will do the same as all of you (keep the same rules for my white arts and dark arts spirits)...

Can I ask you all a question?...how often do you read out your house rules to your spirits?....do you read them once when they arrive or is reading them a regular thing you do?

I read them every time someone new joins the family .

Rules for WA arent really needed .

I have a sheet with the most recent rules printed under the family altar, so everyone can read them everytime, but when someone new comes to the family or an unbound wants to stay a little longer, I repeat the most important rules telepathically.

I tell anyone the basic definition of the house rules, but I don't go in depth with them anymore since that usually bores them lol but yeah I tell them to follow common sense and to obey the few special rules I enforce, then yeah enjoy my house peep

Agree with Wulfke that WA don't need rules.
Make up the DA rules as you go along, why follow rules set by others? They don't have the same fears as you.

Hello, I love these forums! I feel like a big sponge and can't wait for new things to learn!
I recently decided to be a spirit keeper and somehow my family has grown by leaps and bounds! Having just read the most awesome "house rules" by so many, I find myself wondering.. How do you reinforce house rules? What are punishments for infractions? Examples of light to harsh would be appreciated.

Mmm one example is ignoring them.
