My dwarf hamster fell..! Please help..?

Hi everyone!

My dwarf hamster, Pudding, took a leap of faith today! He ran off my hand, and fell on the carpet from a height..! 1bg

I'm terrified of losing him, he's just been resting so much.. I know he's bound to be hurt, I just hope he'll get better soon..

His brother; Treacle, desperately doesn't want to lose him.. Neither do I.. Any prayers for my little one would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much..! :grouphug:

I've got my spirit family watching over them both!

Definitely sending prayers, but also, track down the info of the nearest emergency vet in your area. You might need to bring the little guy there. Poor munchkin.

I have the nearest emergency vet's address and phone number stored in my phone, because I was afraid that in an actual emergency, there would be chaos and that would make looking for the info even harder. Fortunately, I have only had to make use of it once so far.

Thank you so much for your support, and sending your prayers and wishes! He's doing much better now!

We went to the vet, as you said, Likes2read, and he got a full examination!
Unfortunately now he has mites, but we got the treatment from our vet! And he's already looking much better!

Unfortunately he passed away yesterday, he woke up after I felt he was so much better, but he had gone down hill rapidly..

I held him, kept him close and knew that something was terribly wrong.. I kept speaking to him so he knew he wasn't alone ~ At the very end he had a couple of fits, and then died..

I miss him so much..

It's a hard time, but at least I know he's still around, I've felt the little one on my shoulder during the times I've been crying

I am sorry for your loss. I felt that pain in 2012 when I lost my beloved Gizmo. Because there were several losses occurring at the same time, I created the thread fur baby memorial so that others could share in your mourning and loss. Please feel free to post on that thread.
