I've not been putting all one race so got that part down and thank you! Do you have any other tips?

Lets say 128/8 = 16 for each team. Make sure must have 1 leader to lead the team.

8 teams. Lets just put example team:

Alpha - most important task and strongest group
Bravo - sexual
Charlie - support & healing
Delta - finance
Echo - magic
Foxtrot - protection
Golf - protection
Hotel - protection

OR pick a several of your most trusted being to choose its own teammate, if you don't want headache

I have created teams based on spirits' strengths: Protection Team, Prosperity Team, Cheer-Up Team, Weather Team, etc. Many spirits are on more than one team.

Go with the strengths listed on the spirits' listings. The Protection Team (which doesn't want their details made public) has a lot of spirits that I specifically brought on board for protection. As in, I searched the CH shop for protection spirits and started gradually building the team as finances permitted. Dragons, Leprechauns, Merfolk, and others are good with boosting prosperity. Alyas, Djinn, Arkan Sonneys, and some others do wish-granting. Arkan Sonneys also join Enan Dragons and Silver Dragons in cheering up their keeper. (When you deal with a medical diagnosis of depression, as I do, this is a good supplement to the doctor's treatment regimen, because symptom flares happen. But don't REPLACE the medical treatment regimen; merely add to it.) Phoenixes, Caladriuses, Unicorns, and others are healers. And I have a veritable army of spirits to assist with spellcasting.

Review your spirits' strengths and go from there when building teams. And keep updating teams as your family expands.
