Anyone know who/what this is?

For the past few days I've seen a HUGE black shadow following me out of the corner of my eye. It's almost always with me, deep black and sort of a smoke like consistency, always changing shape in a sort of flowing manner but always very large.

I get a very dark, heavy sort of feeling from it but nothing malevolent (plus it got past my protective spirits/entities) so I don't think it means me any harm.

I have tried using the pendulum with it but whoever it is isn't talking! My own companions won't tell me anything about it either, they seem to think it's funny watching me try to figure it out 2yn

I’m novice so I can’t tell you, since I still can’t tell what spirit/entity is what just from seeing, and asking I get “crickets” too LOL although one unbound had said his name once when I asked even though he didn’t specify what he was and that was after he had been hanging around for a long while.

But, curious to know now too

,D sounds like a fun one.

The only time I’ve seen similar, it turned out to be an incubus xD but I’m sure there are plenty that can manifest similarly. Best wishes on figuring out what it is though! Hopefully someone can answer soon or will tell you instead of just watching in amusement lol.

You could ask your spirits. Otherwise maybe it's not a spirit per se but an energy?

I don't think so? The energy feels much darker than that of any of my companions. Just today I've noticed a soft, hot breeze coming from the shadow as well (the breeze might have been there all along, I've been staying with a friend who keeps their house SUPER warm at all times so I likely wouldn't have noticed it before coming home today lol).

Update! One of my favorite shops was having a sale on reverse adoptions over the past few days and I felt called to purchase one. Tuns out a fairly dark DA Vampire came home to me. Well he's since made it known that he was my mystery visitor all along! He says (through pendulum) that he's "had his eye" on me for awhile and has been waiting for the chance to be bound, so yay!

He's a bit of a prankster and a little sadistic, hence the hanging around without letting me know who he was for so long! He enjoyed my mild unease and confusion lol.

So glad you got your answer! It's fun when they reach out like that and you get the aha moment afterwards. Some of my closest came to me this way and I think after the initial questions and worries it's made a stronger bond.
