OK, that settles it. My spirits are smart-alecks. 2yn

This morning, I arrived and learned that someone had seen a mouse run into the room where my desk, and three other desks, are located. A few of us searched for it, including looking in some likely hiding areas, but no dice. We couldn't find it. I silently asked my keep to assist in getting the mouse out of the room. Even better, out of the clinic entirely, but for now, let's start with "out of the room".

Fast-forward to about 3 PM. A few of us were in said room, discussing places to look for the mouse, and one of them indicated a drawer in a cabinet behind my desk. I said that I had already looked in there, but why not look again, and opened the drawer. The *%&$# mouse comes ROCKETING out of the drawer and speeds out of the room. All four of us, and might I point out that not all of us were female, screamed bloody murder.

My smart-aleck spirits: "As requested, the mouse is now out of the room." I guess I should have stipulated, "Please get the mouse out without giving me or anyone else a HEART FAILURE in the process", lol. Uh, thanks, I think. \D

Well, at least the mouse was out. For now. Freaking Topo Gigio needs to go find another building to inhabit.

Ahhh... more specific. I have been there, done that. Thank you for making me laugh so hard my sides hurt.

I hate when they do that to mess with you! I'm not afraid of mice but that would've given me a good scare too.

I'm not afraid of mice, either, but that lightning-fast appearance and exit caught everyone off-guard. People on other floors probably heard the commotion, lol. \D
