Because spirits are spirits and have no astral bodies. You die, your astral body gets lost and what's left is the spirit.
The astral body is just an in between for the spirit and the physical body.

Like I said you haven’t died therefore you can’t possibly understand the mechanics of what happens to you after death. Everything you’re saying is just your own interpretation based only on your opinions.

Well, I have a lot of past lives and I have died quite a lot. How often have you died to become a specialist?
With how many spirits have you interacted and communicated to acquire your absolute true and factual knowledge?
So the same would be true for you, everything you're saying is just your own interpretation and so on and so forth.

Not really true, your subconscious is much more than that, it's pretty much everything, the different bodies, the higher self (you basically never directly interact with your soul, that happens through your higher self) and who knows what else, genetic memory too, social programming, and so on.

Your deaths are your own experiences. Just because you’ve had them doesn’t mean everyone has. I think we should agree to disagree otherwise we are not going to get anywhere. You are of the mind that the astral body dies after death based on your own experiences. u think it is objective. But my views are less objective and more sublective nod are based on what entities tell me. We are different and that’s all there is to it I apologize for being provocative and falling in to the trap of arguing with someone who has a different polarity.

Well, from what I can tell, perception might shape reality but that reality might just stay local, as in just in your head (I won't go into the whole perception is just in your head anyway so the whole universe is in your head and so on, we still possibly share a reality together unless there's only really one mind, one consciousness, which is another big can of worms), I've seen people delude themselves and I happen to have been one of them.

There are things that are given that you have to work against really really hard to not have them happen to you. They don't happen automagically. It might be a test, it might be requirement, who knows. Ascension doesn't come for free and normally doesn't just happen by itself.

Also there might be exceptions to a rule, but as far as I've heard, it's a one size fits all situation. Then again, I haven't talked to all the spirits in the multiverse, so of course it might not be true.
So I wouldn't expect it to happen but rather work towards it because nobody knows if they're an exception or not.

Basically the interfaces/command chain works like that afaik: Soul -> Higher Self -> Spiritual Body -> Astral Body -> Etheric Body -> Physical body.
Where the soul is the operator and the other are more specialised interfaces that work from Kether to Malkuth, aka Spirit to Physical aka highest to lowest in meaning of vibration/density. If the physical body is gone, there's no need for the astral and etheric body anymore.
They would just be a hindrance, a limitation in a way.

Don't forget, our astral body is something totally different from the astral body of astral entities. They still have organs, which ours doesn't since it is just a kind of projection. Our focal point in this case is the physical body.
