How have your Sin eaters appeared to you?

Anyone who has a sin eater do you have any idea how they look like? I had one shipped recently and i believe he appeared to me in a dream but not sure because the image in the shop is just a skull.

I conjured one once for a one off deal. He looked human shaped, but wore a hood where i couldn't see the face.

The one I have from CH was described as not being a companion so I have not been expecting them to appear to me in dreams, just to use their vessel as prescribed for cleansing.

Someone in another thread mentioned that these can be very dark, and I would echo that. Mine is from blujay and is one of the most powerful spirits in my keep- one of the only ones to manifest in a physical form. I have him on a nice polished stone (and this may sound odd) but I’ll light a candle and have my partner run it over my neck and back. Then I slip the stone in my pillowcase and let him resume work overnight. Even when my partner is in the room I will see him in our realm for half a second standing over me. He is definitely grim reaper esque. Which is funny because his personality is incredibly polite, reserved, and almost professional? He also provides intense flutter sensations when we’re working together, mostly hands, feet and base of my neck. He’s communicated telepathically, that he “draws” from these places. It’s precious because I can sense that he likes to quietly join monthly holidays (Samhain and such) but I get the anxious “no, oh no no no” when I ask if he’d like to join the rest of the family on outings lol. He’s my awkward little duckling, he likes his dark box, lid closed, and his space and quiet.
