I found this on YouTube a few days ago, and then, lo and behold, an article!

Check it out, it's pretty darn fascinating!

hmm quite interesting! if i lived close by, i would go to the museum to gaze upon it, and sneak in some bread and things to leave as offerings! and just hide them somewhere inconspicuously. and then see if the movement stops or changes patterns over the next few days!!

someone go leave an offering for gods sakes. haha.

:peace:

You may be on to something Amnesia, on the back of the statue is this: The hieroglyphs on the back of the statue spell out, “bread, beer and beef,” a “prayer for offerings for the spirit of the man

That has been going on for awhile. There are several ways they could eliminate the most scientific explanations as to why this may be happening outside the paranormal realm. I wonder why they haven't eliminated the obvious yet? Regardless of what it is or isn't, it is good press for the museum.

I'd like to go sit in front of that glass case for a day and just watch it turn over time.

Did anyone else 'feel' something from the picture of the the statues face?

If I was there, I would love to bring the bread, beer and beef and then offer it to him and then see what happens!!! Could be very interesting!!!! ;)

Actually I am surprised they haven't tried it, just to see what would happen  ;)

I love how people come up with the most bizarrely scientific explanations just to try and convince themselves that the paranormal doesn't exist...I mean they don't even entertain the idea...silly people

I know it is funny to see how people try to explain things that they DON'T understand away just so they can wrap their minds around it, for fear that it might not just fit in with how they view things or the so called "real world"!!!!

...vibration caused by footsteps of visitors, a passing train or magnetic force? LOL That might explain random turning...but turning exactly 180 degrees and stopping is a bit harder. :P
