Photographs from historical sites

These were taken months ago, but I'm lazy handling photographs. This was a restaurant on a fortress-like building: I noticed right away after taking the shot that there were those red and light markings on the stairs that were not there for bare eye. The hearts on the window were a decoration that anybody could see, and there is a lantern behind door on the left that is orange, but there were no other red objects in the room for double exposure. Seeing the photo on computer screen, there are faint red hazey areas on right side door and on the ceiling.

I was in Turkey, We went from Antalya to Cappadocia and back again.


I have to admit that I have lens flares in many photos, this one of the hotel has it as well. See the little rainbows on top of the hotel?

I think this is the biggest flare I've managed to get ever. Wintertime in Cappadocia as you can see.

Actually this is no small flare either. These are little churches, families each had one, or this is how a man I met nearby here told me the reason why there were so many of them, and their departed were buried inside there too. There were some bones under glass outside the door there, in a shallow grave.

Here is a large church. I got stuck for a while in the stairs that are seen on the second photo that I posted, the reason that happened were a large group that did not understand that the ones up needed to come down before more people can go in the church that is seen in the picture. Incidentally you can see them coming down on their turn. Easier to climb up than to get down huh? So I stayed on ground after that.

Here is a monastery, there were one mountain for men and one for women. I think this was for the one for men.
