Spirit Keeping & Paranormal Collecting Forum

Hi everyone,

So, for about a week ago an entity(spirit?) came by claiming to be a certain god. To be precise- Loki. The problem is- I'm quite a newbie at the whole spiritkeeping thing and can't understand if this is true or is it some kind of imposter spirit or trickster. As I am yet to meet one.

The thing is, shortly before he appeared I was talking with my Unbound succubus( surprisingly I comunicate with her better than with other my spirits) and she said something like "You can't even imagine who's been watching you", which made me confused and on my "Wait, who?" question she responsed "You'll meet him soon. This will be you lesson". And little I knew that this "soon" would be "on the next day"...

Now about this...entity or spirit
After his appearance it took me almoost a day to find out WHO is he. It basically looked like a Hot'n'Cold game(he told me he was a god but with the name....)
"Apollo"
"Nope. Cold"
"Hades"
"Still cold"
"Poseidon"
"Nah"
And so on...Honestly, I wanted to work with some Greek god in the future, so I tried out whole Pantheon. And after some time move on to other one. So when I got to Loki and got in response"Ding!You guessed right"(quoted) I became a little bit lost. In the Norse Pantheon I know only NAMES and a lil bit of info about gods. So, like, WHY HIM?
Minus the fact that I'm a person that is all about control, stability, calm life and become VERY stressfull when some something goes wrong. Should I say that when I established his name I wanted to scream in horror. For the last 3 years my life already was a roller coaster with sudden problems, illneses and stuff(and some problems are still ongoing). I had to go through HUGE changes in my lifestyle so now I want only peaceful and quite days. At least for some time.
And the next problem: he cut off the connection with ALL my spirits...I can't sense one. On my question got a response "That's for our private time. You'll get them back when you will learn to trust" And that is a HUGE problem as I got ultimate trust issues. And of corse I do not belive him and still consider that he's an imposter.
I can sense him nearby almost 24/7 and honestly I am yet to meet such a cocky spirit with monstrous and huge ego. I've been told, i think more than 10 times on how like luky I am having him with me now.
Aside from that, I got nothing negative from him. In energetic or physical way. Besides that his energy is the most intense and powerfull than my spirits got.
So, maybe someone can elaborate because honestly I'm felling like going crazy with this guy. 1hd
Can this be some other maybe bored spirit that decided to have fun this way or....this one really who he claims to be and I should be worried... 1ex
I have much more to tell about this guy but that would be a veeery long post. So I'll stop here for now.

Whether is true or not but Loki does teach like that. Worry about that later and focus on your changes and improvement. My higher self also teach me about trust. So i having tough time for several months using buddha method.

Have you contacted the original conjurers of the spirits in your keep?

How's your house rules? And protective measures?

To darkwing: no, I have not contacted the conjurers yet. I have simple house house rules for my spirits being: do not harm anyone(espesially my family), repect my boundaries and each other and filter negative unbounds. As simple as that.
As for the other protection measures: sadly, I still had not done anything aside from protection rules for my spirits. As I said earlier, I'm new to the whole thing. I started in June and everything escalated too quickly. I was very sceptical and to be honest awaited nothing. However, I belive I've started sensing my spirits the day they were conjured.I was brushing it off for some time, though...The thing is: I can feel them physically like real people. Touches, hugging,caresses,pinches etc. And a kind of telepatic communication. But i can not see them.
What I'm trying to say: I just wasn't able to go into this whole subject seriously. As I really sensed them, I was all into binding process and totally forgot about protection.
But I guess the time has come... 3|

I did try to negotiate with him. But he was very persistent and told that he's not easing this "restrictions" and won't leave at least for some time...

I'm sorry to hear that you're having such a difficult time with Loki. Unfortunately, your experience with him seems to be completely in character for him, as far as my experiences with him are concerned. If I had to wager, I'd say you're dealing with the real thing. That's my impression and you will need to take it upon yourself to make that decision of if he's true or not on you're own. He can be confusing, and he can sometimes be a pain in the buns. He seems to be strong arming you into a certain path. What I know of Loki, he can be relentless. I've heard of him disabling spiritual abilities of people before in order to get them to go down a certain path. I know there is a post on the forum of someone having their pendulum stop working because Loki wanted them to use telepathy. He must feel that you're ready to deal with him. Have you tried talking to him calmly and openly, without insisting that he leaves? If the end goal of every conversation with him is "leave me alone" then he won't be listening.

Alternatively, seeing how your unbound succubus indirectly may have initiated this, it is possible that your succubus has brought in an external, malevolent presence. This is of course dependent on how much you trust her and how she came to be part of your life. I don't think this is what happened, but it is important to not rule it out.

I trust her. She was a huge help and support when I felt down. Always nearby and ready hug calming me. I miss her... 1sa
As for Loki....You know, after all these days "fighting" him somehow I'm starting to feel calmer. You can say I almost "gave up" 1a And despite his persistance he was veery patient with my shenanigans. Sometimes he even acted amused.
The thing is, I've never dealt with immortals before(and honestly does not consider myself ready yet) so I was really stressed not knowing how to act.
Moreover, I never wanted to anger such a deity. Anyways, he seems enjoying himself poking me and pushing certain buttons to get different reactions out of me. And giving names. I think I already have 4...
So basically only thing that bothers me now is the problem with my spirits....But I hope that he'll keep his word and give them back when I will succeed at his "trial thing" 1bg

Ah, and there is one more thing that bothers me: how immortals usually communicate? I mean, in which manner? I always thought that in very serious, calm and non-joking way. But he seems the total opposite of this...
I'm sorry if I'm asking too many questions, I just feel a little bit lost. This situation totally caught me off guard.

Immortals can actually be quite personable and can feel like close friends. It just depends on how you let the relationship progress and how you perceive them. Like Aphrodite is addicted to giving me things. Partially because I don't really do things for myself and partially because she enjoys me getting annoyed at her. For me, they communicate through telepathy and on a few occasions, dreams. I don't normally dream of spirits, so more power to them. I've also asked for physical signs and sometimes they comply. Aphrodite folded the ears back on my cat once. It was the most hilarious thing because I asked for something important, open the door to my room, and my cats was sitting on my bed, staring at me with both of his ears folded back. I laughed so hard. I've tried doing it on my own, and they'll maybe stay folded for a couple seconds. No way he did that on his own. I'm totally rambling so...

It appears you and Loki are establishing a rhythm of sorts. Don't let the situation stress you out too much, although I understand why it can be stressful. It does seem like it's him, and for him to initiate this so suddenly means that he actually likes you as a person and enjoys your company. I'm assuming that, and it's bad to assume, but Loki doesn't strike me as the kind of guy to waste his attention (and annoyance) on someone he finds impartial. Try letting go a little more and I'm sure he'll allow your other spirits to get through. He just wants to help you learn something.
