Re-programming a servitor after it's creation

I don't mean, of course, changing basilar features as it's task, appearance, behaviour, but just some minor details. If I create a servitor and program it, details can be added after its creation such as , if it is programmed and tasked for my space cleansing, can I specify a frame time for its task as ''during day, at work only '' in a second time and if it is possible, can this be done by summoning it or does it require other rituals this question obviously refers just to ''home-made'' servitors not to the ones sold by others. ;O

I constantly add programming to my personal servitors, but it is more than just calling it up. Consider it almost like an operation, or adding code to an already established program. However, one important thing to remember is not to add anything that will oppose its core program. This can cause glitches to develop.

I suppose, building on darklordmight's statement, the type of glitches could lead to the services splitting into two because parts may take on the new programming while others don't, or any other manner of things.
I suppose the same thing could happen if you don't program it properly as well.

Yes, programing of the servitor is a balance, you want it to be safe, but you also want it to be able to achieve its goals.

I'd imagine that to be significantly more complicated, just because of the huge leap in their abilities.

If you created the servitor then you're the creator, you should know how it was made the way it is and how to reprogram it. That's the simple answer. If you don't know how it came to be then you need to get inside of it and figure out it's wiring. Yes yes servitors can be as 'real' as spirits or entities, but remember they are energetic machines, artificial intelligence.. if you have a problem open them up, go inside, fix it. If the servitor/thoughtform is not well established and you want to have this control over it - you must develop a methodology then apply throughout the essence of the being, which will be as if rebuilding, or restoring.
