To true. I've always thought that had Lore been there they might have been able to work together to a different end. It's implied that the Cyberneticists just weren't fast enough to really help, and Data became overwhelmed.

The next time Lore shows up, they have a short exchange about it and Lore genuinely seems upset. Of course, Lore is Star Trek's Joker. xD You never really know. lol

I'm certainly not saying they would get it right out of the gate. DLM has admitted he had to experiment multiple times(I'm also fairly certain it's mentioned Soong had failed prototypes). It's difficult to think about, but a harsh truth considering the complexity and scope of the outcome.

Yeah, true. The last TNG movie they find B4 (I guess that's the name?) which does indicate multiple prototypes. It is a good comparison though.

Hi, i have a question. Can an Alpha work on a humans mind/body to change their character ( for the better ) I mean take someone who is being bullied, i know that you cannot really interfere with anothers personality ie, the bully, but could an Alpha change the character who is being bullied into a confident and strong character, who can deal with any negative remarks made towards him and actually be as sarcastic and nasty back to the bully, in fact cleverer?
I have read that Spirits can pass certain gifts on to their keepers, like ubi or vampires, so their keeper can become like them, like being able to charm other humans, etc. Would this work the same for Alphas?
Could they heal a human of stress, anger, resentment, anything that holds them back in life. I mean like stuff in the mind or is that too much of an ask?

Hi Loverboy,
An Alpha can help you to overcome the obstacles in your life, though they will not make the changes for you. The reason for that is if someone else were to give you courage, or any other trait, it would be something temporary, but if you find your own, it will be a powerful force indeed. But they will help you to become the person you desire to be.

Okay, thanks DLM. But can they help take away the fears a person has, so that the person can have the courage to deal with the situation? Also if a person creates their own template of an Alpha and the more in depth the character is known by the person creating the character, would the bond be quicker and stronger?
Say a writer created a character in a book, wrote about the character, got to know the characters personality so much and then asked you to bring it to life as an Alpha, would the bond be almost immediate, sorry i may not be explaining myself well. I like a certain singer, from back in the 80's got quite obsessed about her, found out everything about her and asked you to create an Alpha of her would the bonding be easier and quicker?

Sorry if my questions seem strange. I know what in my head what i want to say, but it's not coming across very well.

Hi Loverboy,
No worries, I think I know what you are talking about. The Alpha would help you face your fears, be there by your side and yes, it could give you a sense of courage.
As for a character that you created, it would still take some bonding, because while you know the character inside and out, the Alpha would still need to know you. It would most likely go a lot faster though.
Same with an 80's rock star. (Tiffany is one I still keep contact with.)
