I just learned about the Soucouyant, while researching various myths. I find them very interesting. I've sent in a HD ticket to ask if they can be conjured or not (hoping they are DA and not BA).

I settled on getting a custom conjure Viridian Dragon instead (yup, influx of Dragons lol). BUT..
I am still interested in a Soucouyant. I will update this thread with the HD ticket reply on whether they can or can't be conjured (for my own interest, as well as for anyone else who may want to know).

Update - I got a reply from HD:

Good morning I spoke to Ash and he said they can be a custom conjuration and they are on the darker side of DA.

Placed an order today and chose a Soucouyant as my BOGO spirit. So, will see who comes through and what they are like!

My Soucouyant is here! Yowza, this guy is DARK. He is described as being "merciless" (in reference to protection) "sinister" and "wicked". Right after I read his description yesterday, something made me look over towards my left foot (I was sitting at a table on the floor) and I saw a spider running towards me. I was able to move away just in time and narrowly missed heart failure, lol. Coincidence?

He sounds intense. I am very interested in hearing more about your experiences with him. I also find it interesting that you got a male, what I read primarily mentioned females, so that makes it sound like males are rare. This makes me even more interested in hearing about your new very protective companion. Congrats by the way.

Thanks for your interest, I hope to be able to share some of my experiences with him here. You make a good point about him being male since they are primarily female in the myths, but then again myths aren't always accurate depictions of a being. I do hope others find themselves interested in Soucouyants, and are able to comment here too at some stage with their own experiences!
