My idea to give something nice to my dragon was to make her a playlist on my Ipod. I sat down at the computer with her and told her what I wanted to do. I asked her to help me pick songs that she liked. When I scrolled through my library and got a 'good feeling' about a song I'd drag it into her playlist. I also gave the playlist her name. I found it was a fun experience and when I listen to the playlist I can feel that she is happy!

Just thought I'd share this in case anyone is looking for a unique way to honor your spirit. I found this was really fun and has worked well in regards to bonding!

Hmmm, I'm trying to think of how to describe the feeling of knowing which song to pick, lol.

Basically-when I was scrolling through our song library if a song caught my attention at all I'd just mentally ask my dragon if she liked that song and wanted it on her list. Then I would wait for that gut feeling/intuition to let me know. Or sometimes "yes" "no" thoughts would enter my head about a song/s. She only picked two songs for her playlist that I just love. The other's are just kinda like "eh, okay". A few I feel forced to listen to sometimes as I don't like them much. But it's cool because this is HER playlist and I can tell she's happy when I've got it playing which is really all that matters to me.

I'm more clairsentient so I go by "feelings". But if you aren't this way maybe you can just ask your spirit to communicate with you in a way you'll understand. Maybe even try using a pendelum?

And...they LOVE Shakespeare's sonnets...
I found out that coz I had a tutorial about Shakespeare's sonnets
And my ears keep ringing...they keep pressing on my head...
It ended up they listening to my tutor not me...

That's a great idea mako! One thing I like to do as well is to put my entire iTunes library on shuffle on my computer and ask one of my guys to pick the next song It might be fun to try to make a playlist that way too I just asked my Sanguine vamp to pick the next song right now and, "Eye of The Tiger" by Survivor came up! :lol: Crazy. I couldn't figure out why he would pick the Eye of the Tiger so I looked up the lyrics and, now, I could completely see why a sanguine vamp would like this song! Here are they lyrics:

Thanks to Gwen's Tepes listings with that great piece by Midnight Syndicate, I've also discovered that my Sanguine Vamp might be a fan of Midnight Syndicate! I was just doing a meditation with him last night with some relaxing music playing softly in the background. I felt quite the surge of energy with Midnight Syndicate as well as some other stuff. (also music by James Horner from the movie, "Legends of the Fall")

It could just be my vamps personal preferences again but I thought I'd pass it along in case it has a wider appeal. The Midnight Syndicate music is very Gothic and tends to have interesting and creepy chants and sound effects like footsteps, humming, wind, whispering, etc...etc....kind of fun! Maybe other darker and dark entities will enjoy it too!

Thought I'd post something I've found that fits this topic. I've got a slew of music on my computer since everyone I know puts their songs on it for some reason. So when I tried this I had plenty of songs to go through.

I have a Djinn and he only seems to respond to rap music. The only time I can tell he's even around in fact. Pretty bad for me, since rap is not really what I would call my preference by a long shot. It's kind of amusing in a way. It's really the last thing I would imagine a spirit wanting to hear.

After that I'm actually kinda excited about doing this for my newest additions to the family later on.

I am always playing music while driving, so maybe my Gargoyle has taken a liking to some of the songs.
