What else needs to be done when purchasing protection vessels from CH

Hi All CH Members,
I am buying a protection vessel from CH, white arts/bridge to me/CH is adding charging energy to the vessel therefore I don't need a charging box.
My question would be: in order to protect against all (bad attacks/spirit/living entities/physic attacks), when buying the CH vessel already charged, do I need to do any other spell and/or enchantment to add to the vessel to make it work or would the vessel works just as it was sent by CH)?
For what I understood, the vessel would work just as it was sent by CH, right?!
