Uhhhhmmm.. hm...
I'm wondering why the guy is presenting his book like a pyramid scheme or infomercial presented by a self-help guru..
I've never seen such an..egotistic? representation of a grimoire.. most grimoires of quality go under the radar, or are advertised accordingly at the appropriate occult sources.
A closer look reveals the entire site is like this.. this is an affiliate book..
The crazy thing is I've heard of E.A. Koetting (the author whose site this is) and at least one of his works..but seeing this website has turned me off. Lol.
Allow me to be critical.. I really can't get past that. But to each their own.
No book is going to guide you to become truly immortal if you're thinking this, or achieve lichform as would seem indicated by necromancy (but probably isn't the case here).. that is total nonsense. A good book may grant you with tools of empowerment through it's rites, wisdom and aid in paving a way..
but the claims here are just, oddly exaggerated.. misrepresented to a degree.. I'm not fond of it.
I recognize it's probably coming from a LHP perspective, and I'm very familiar with the LHP concept of 'godhood'.. I just don't altogether get what the deal is here.
Anyway rounding back specifically to the book you've posted - I can't speak on it from the viewpoint of having read it, so that's about the extent of my reaction.
Sorry to bring so much flak to the table.. but wow.. I feel like this is a weird dream.

Egocentric or egomaniacal would be more fitting methinks.Noctifera wrote:Uhhhhmmm.. hm...

'Egocentric' refers to only thinking of oneself.Aprophis wrote:Egocentric or egomaniacal would be more fitting methinks.Noctifera wrote:Uhhhhmmm.. hm...

'Egotistic' goes a step further.. being extremely conceited.
'Egomaniac' I think is a bit too much for this instance.

Egoistic means only acting out of self interest.
Egocentric means only accepting the internal world and refusing reality
Egomaniacal means you think you're a god and can do everything (which he basically does).
You could use wikipedia to check though

Dante Abiel.... Well I'm not sure I'm interested in this book simply because of.his affiliation with Koetting. I read the Book of Azazel and his attitude, arrogance and just general dickish attitude put me off.
Dante Abiel has worked closely with koetting for a long time so if you like Koettings works youll probably like this. Both of them have been able to.accomplish amazing rituals and are strong magicians in their own rights, I just feel the same things can be accomplished with less...fan fare. It's like they shout "oooh this is dangerous woooo" and " oh beware! You could go.insaaaane" to sell books. I personally prefer S. Connolly.
