Barbegazi are shy gnomes who are completely covered in ice and snow. They lived primarily in the mountainous caverns and tunnels of Europe (documented in France & Switzerland). They only emerge from their homes when the temperature is below zero. They can walk atop the snow and use their feet to shovel and tunnel snow as needed. They are kind to humans and have saved many human lives of those lost or trapped in the mountains.
