Spirit Keeping is not evil or slavery by any measure. It is a mutually beneficial and mutually voluntary relationship. You choose to be a Keeper with your own freewill, and a spirit chooses to be kept by you with their own freewill.
This is by no means a religious action; people of all beliefs may welcome spirits into their lives. Creepy Hollows regularly serve many people from many different religions who are happy Spirit Keepers.
The best spirit companions are spirits who want to participate in Spirit Keeping. They desire to interact with humans, and they conduct themselves within the covenants of Spirit Keeping.
Spirits who are antagonistic or troublesome are undesirable companions and not considered at all.
The manifestations you will likely experience vary depending on the spirit companion. Visually, you will typically see orbs, light streaks, Shades, mist, and blurry apparitions. Audibly, you will typically hear words in known and unknown languages, specific sounds, along with random noises. It is also common to encounter manifestations of true form through dreams while sleeping or through visions while meditating. It is possible for you to experience any or all of these manifestations in any combination.
While some spirit companions share common manifestations, they each decide for themselves how they will manifest to their Keeper. Most often, a spirit companion will choose to manifest in a way that is comfortable and recognizable to their Keeper which fosters a great bond and greater chance of interaction.
For some, this will happen before the spirit companion even arrives at your home. For others, this will occur some time between a few days to a few months. This variation is driven by the type of spirit companion, in addition to its own unique sociability.
The effort you invest into the relationship is relative what you will receive. In other words, you get what you give.
It is unwise to have others act as a go-between for you and your spirit companion. While channelers, psychics, and readers are valuable, cherished members of the paranormal community, they should never assume your role in creating interaction with your spirit companion. You and you alone must strengthen and grow the paranormal energy necessary for interaction with your spirit companion. Without this crucial element, you will never truly understand your spirit companion and the relationship can falter.
The origin of a spirit companion’s name can depend on the type of spirit and can arrive from several different possibilities. It could be their original name from when they lived, a human version of their name, or a name they adopted once in spirit form.
In some cases, the spirit companion’s name might originate from a language or communication system inaccessible to humans and impossible for us to understand. Which is why a spirit will choose a name closest to their original name or represents something special to them.
Anyone can be a Spirit Keeper. Multitudes of people across the globe of varied backgrounds, religions, lifestyles, genders, and ages have been and currently are Spirit Keepers. They are those who carry the belief of the paranormal and metaphysical in their hearts every day; finding the beauty that exists beyond the power of the human eyes.
Using a wide variety of methods, they communicate and work with their spirit companions. These methods include meditation, telepathy, pendulum, automatic writing, dreams, and many others. They eagerly welcome spirits into their lives and make them part of their families.
The spirits you keep are acutely aware of things going on in your life. In ways, they know you as well or even better than you know yourself. Your spirit companions will never be upset should you need to spend time away from them and address your own issues. These highly evolved beings specifically chose you for companionship, knowing all that will transpire. Do not worry when you must take time away.
Most anyone can learn to conjure and bind spirits if they are willing to invest the time and effort needed to learn to do so.

Bindings performed by Creepy Hollows are unaffected if people other than you touch your spirit companion’s vessel. As experienced and trusted conjurers, we have the knowledge and ability to bind the spirit with protection and shielding, which allows this to be.
When an unprotected, unshielded binding is touched by a person who’s sensitive to spirits, they might become aware there is a spirit present. To preserve the privacy of yourself and your spirit companion, adequate protective measures are advised.

From much practice, master conjurers know the difference between Dark, White, and Black energies. While conjuring, they can distinguish the energy differences between Vampires from Angels in a split-second and take appropriate measures. However, this rarely occurs because when properly written, invocations conjure only the intended target and nothing else.
This is one of many reasons why it is imperative to work with experienced, trusted, and respected conjurers only. Working with anyone less presents vulnerabilities which often lead to negative consequences. Venues like eBay and Etsy are rife with unscrupulous charlatans and inexperienced wannabes. Most of these sellers do not disclose crucial details such as where they learned, how much experience they have, or what their ideology and methodology is.
With the practice of Spirit Keeping, nefarious unbound spirits do not hijack bindings, or sneak through conjurations to replace the conjured spirit, especially when you are working with an experienced conjurer. There isn’t any reason for an unbound spirit to do so. In fact, that would directly contradict their goal. Any unbound spirit can encounter any person on Earth, at any time. They do not need a conjuration, let alone a binding, to come to a person or into their home. For a prankster or troublesome unbound, they do not want the respectful covenants of Spirit Keeping that a binding brings. That would be counteractive to their troublesome nature. If someone tells you that a spirit has hijacked a proper Spirit Keeping binding, or snuck through instead of the proper spirit to be conjured, you need to immediately distance yourself from the person telling you that you have a hijacking spirit – especially if they are requesting money to correct the binding.
In summary, trusted master conjurers will not conjure or bind the wrong spirits.
