No question is a silly question!  No, bright lights, loud noises, and other daily, ambient or atmospheric conditions, do not bother a spirit.  Of course, the only exception being intent.  If you are intending to cause discomfort to your spirits by doing things that you intend to be harmful (whether or not the action is capable of harming them) they will be bothered by the fact you intended to cause them a problem.
