Maras Elves are a race shrouded in mystery as much as they are shrouded in the densely wooded areas they hail from. They are a race of enlightened, highly-skilled Elves who were little in contract with the human race, but from time-to-time came into contact with lost or wandering solo or groups of humans. They were hesitant to be too involved, but on rare occasions when great offerings were made for their counsel on landscape or survival in the woods, they would provide more in-depth guidance. In spirit form they are less guarded, and have more engaging personalities, though they do not like to be in the presence of those who aren't experienced in being around spirits, as they can easily tire of beginner energy & questions. For this reason, they are a highly-evolved race that prefers to keep company with those who are knowledge-seekers in earnest & sincere motivation.
