The young viking, Hiccup, wants to join his town’s fight against the dragons that raid their town. However, his father and village leader will not allow him to do so. Regardless, he ventures out into battle and downs a mysterious Night Fury dragon, but he can’t bring himself to kill it. Instead, they begin a friendship and he realizes that his people have misjudged the species.
