Tree Folk are the entities who inhabit trees. They have been known by many names throughout the world. There are stories of Tree Folk from all civilizations and throughout recorded history. They are the guardians of the forests who keep safe the flora & fauna of their territory. They can be loners or live in small communities. They acted to keep the woodlands and all creatures within safe for the future. They monitored the consumption, aided wildlife in their evolution, and even burnt out parts of their territory when it needed to be replenished with healthy, new foliage.
Some spent an entire lifetime in one forest, while others traveled great distances to discover and protect new territory. They are enchanters who practice a unique form of magick known only to their kind. Tree Folk are generally in good disposition but they can have mood swings like humans. They are fascinating to learn from as their conversations are filled with legendary stories and unimaginable beauty.
As spirit companions they bring you an intense connection with nature. You can feel the raw, organic power they possess. You will be limitlessly connected to the prehistoric energy known through Tree Folk. They work with their own style of magick which is pure, unusual, and powerful when it comes to matters of protection, Elemental influence, and the powers of cleansing & rejuvenation.

Secret to Keeping
These Dark Arts secrets were previously not known outside of family and Creepy Hollows collectors. They are secrets discovered by Ash and he has generously agreed to share them with all collectors because having the right secret and being able to properly handle DA spirits is more important.
Caring for your Tree Folk companion is the same as caring for any other spirit except being a creature of duality there is a way to keep them under control if you feel they are becoming too energetic, too strong in manifestation or too "in your face". Place the vessel of your spirit companion near motor oil, they become subdued and submissive. Only use this technique if you feel the Huldra is becoming too strong for your liking- some collectors like their spirits to be "on the go" all the time so it is your judgment call.Tags: ent, green man, greenman, Huorn, tree folk, tree man
