RANKING OUT OF 5 SKULLS

This is a film version of the Grimm's Fairy Tale "Ashputtel". The most memorable film version of this story is Disney's 1950 animated film "Cinderella". In this remake Disney takes their own version of the story and tweaks it a little to give it a fresh perspective. The storyline remains the same as Cinderella is the orphaned daughter who becomes a servant in her own home at the hands of her stepmother and two stepsisters. There is a new perspective to the plot line which can be enjoyed by any Cinderella fan.

Benny: It's a nice, little remake. It has some slow sections; especially in the beginning. Overall it will not disappoint.

Rudy: I like it. It was a decent retelling of a well-known story. The visuals in the move are memorable.
