Agnes, a desperite ex wife and lonely waitress, lives in a Oklahoma motel. Grieving over her dissappearing son and constintly getting calls from her ex on probation, Agnes only finds serenity in a affair with Peter who was introduced by her lesbian friend, RC. After finding bugs in their bed, Peter informs Agnes of a army experiment that has infested him with bugs. Soon, the conspiracy is shared by the couple against the American government and their secrets.
