Sojobo, King of the Tengu, resides on Mount Kurama. He met Yoshitsune of the Minamoto Clan there, after Yoshitsune was exiled to Mount Kurama to become a Buddhist priest by a rival clan member. Sojobo taught Yoshitsune how to be a warrior, concentrating on swordsmanship, martial arts, military stratigies, and magical skills. Instead of weakening Yoshitsune and the Minamoyo clan, the exile turned Yoshitsune into a great warrior, thanks to the help of Sojobo.
