Hmm. I can't help but think of nature spirits. But maybe that's because my astral territory resembles a forest with a body of water, and needs maintenance -- so I have a gnome and hobgoblin who help in this aspect. I tend to think in terms of: What the territory is and its features + what type of being can tend to it or the aspects it has.
