Could you please help me by advising me on what spirit I can buy from CH to help me cut energetic ties with someone? My ex won't stop thinking about me, and I feel his energy around me all the time. I know he's thinking of me because I keep getting missed calls from unknown numbers, and he emailed me saying he was trying to call me. He's blocked, and I don't want to talk to him anymore. I feel his energy around me all the time and dream of him often. I also can't stop thinking about him, and I feel it's because his energy is in my aura. What can I do? Please any tip would help ! Thank you !

I'm sure some spirits have qualities that can alleviate that however keep in mind that dreaming of and not being able to stop thinking about someone is a psychological matter as well. And it will only get better as time passes, it's been 5 years since I broke up with my abusive ex and I still dream of him sometimes to this day. I've been 1 year into spirit keeping and although less frequent, last month I had a dream with him in it.

2 books I'd like to suggest:

Draja Mickaharic's Spiritual Cleansing, Thorson's, 1982
Judy Hall's The Way of Protection, Thorson's, 1999

The first one is a kind of 'simple' folk magic way of dealing with plaguing energies, using things like water, eggs, incense. It includes a way to deal with energy from someone thinking hard about you. A way to cleanse yourself of energy that has been left on you from contact with someone whose energy is disharmonious with yours. Self fumigation with incense. And so on.

The second book contains lots of techniques. There's one diy rite for tie cutting. Lots of tips for psychic self protection. It uses white light.

A combination of things may give the broadest coverage.

Nb If you have effective protection in place, I understand it's still possible for our own minds to circumvent that and either keep 'peeking' psychically at the source of irritation or to replicate it via what some people call projection, or our own paranormal mental energy. So it can be a good idea to calm our mind and remove it from focusing on the thing that's bothering us.

What you can do is indulge in a marathon of romantic TV shows and let yourself express your emotions through tears. Just kidding! That's not a recommended approach. Nonetheless, there are plenty of other things you can do to take your mind off of him and keep yourself distracted.

Since you're still finding it hard to forget about him, it sounds like this breakup is still fresh in your mind. It's completely normal and understandable that you're going through a psychological process, and with time, the thoughts of him may gradually fade away.

You don't necessarily need a specific protection spirit like a Volkh to help you sever your cord with him. Any spirit can assist you in this process. Alternatively, you can imagine a rope made of pure energy connecting you and him, and then visualize yourself using a pair of scissors to cut that rope. You can repeat this simple technique on a weekly basis if you wish.

Additionally, consider finding a spell that can provide you with protection against negative energies once you've successfully severed the cord. Unfortunately, I can't provide you with a specific spell, but any spell that safeguards you from harmful or negative energies would be highly beneficial.

In my last post I didn't mention specifically the fact that there'll be tie cutting rites on the internet, if you search for them.

I also didn't say - perhaps I should have? - that there's no spirit type I've come across yet that specialises in tie cutting. That is to say I haven't read of one in CH's materials. But maybe you can find one with special abilities via a custom conjuration.

I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble with an ex I'm sure that makes things uncomfortable for you. It's never easy when you break-up with someone and there is still any form of attachment between you. He may have been part of your life story, but that doesn't mean he has the right to continually invade your space. In any cutting tie spell or ritual, it's about reclaiming your space and feeling confident in yourself.

There are a few things you could do to help alleviate the energy connection.

1. If you feel comfortable smudging, and you don't have any kind of sensitivity to sage, you can do the following:

With the smudging stick smoldering, gently pass it back and forth across your body, and recite:

I cast away all of your power around me, (say ex's name)
In cleansing rite of action, I dissolve your ties
You shall not dwell around me, I claim my space
Your presence is not welcome here

Once recited, you should pass the smudge stick through your home, and especially in any areas that you both frequented. You can then extinguish the sage. I recommend taking a few moments for cleansing thoughts and positive affirmations for yourself.

2. If you have any photos of him, or you write his name out on a piece of paper. While tearing the photo or paper in half, recite:

All ties between us are revoked
You are not welcome in my space
No longer any bonds hold us together
Your ties dissolved and I am cleansed
Reclaiming my singularity

Then, in a fire proof/safe container, burn the photo or paper. When the burn is complete, blow the ashes outside, or dissolve them in water and dispose.

I wish I knew CH forum earlier as I find @Magnolia 's reply especially powerful. I recovered very slowly from my own problem that was similar desire at the time. I was seeking to be free & breaking ties from him.

I totally get it when you say you feel it when you are on his mind. I did too. So much so, that I knew when he had his dirty sexual fantasise with me. I felt raped... But I had not known CH or magick back then. All I had was my tears and silent endurance of my pain and suffering. No understanding or appologies came from his part.

I can tell you this though...karma caught up with him. And I eventually find this forum and via my angels and then all my companions, I am quickly restored to good health and never looked back. This includes protection against him.

He has been broken and his career as well as his family situation has changed. He not only separated from me emotionally but his own family disowned him. Which is very sad to hear, but I am sure that my endless crying for 6 months has been heard back then. Obviously, he did something wrong in the eyes of the Universal laws...and eventually karma dealt with him and his lots.

And this is for your encouragement @melinda1111 to know this, it'll gets better, even if there's seemingly no practical solution to break cords nor understanding from his part to let you go, it'll happen. Try to do what everyone else has been suggesting to you. I especially love @Magnolia 's breaking ritual. It's powerful.

I am currently on some emotional damage control myself from years past and @Magnolia 's post will be most helpful with mopping up some lingering connections. Some have lingered far too long and are causing me blockages.

@melinda1111 Being swamped in any sort of unwanted/negative energy is awful. I hope what everyone has recommended will help the situation and you can move forward soon!
