Heart warming pic. Love it!
What is it about the wolf that we find so fascinating? Is it that he's intrinsically beautiful? Is it the mystery that surrounds them and their lifestyles? We know so little about how they actually live... Or is it the fierce loyalty to one's pack/family?
Since I was a child of 6 or 7 I've been enamored with wolves. I like them because they hunt together and fight together. No matter what, pack comes first. They're loyal to their death. They always take care of their own first and if there are resources, they will adopt other wolves into their pack so they won't starve or go cold... They are very afraid of men and shy creatures overall. To feel threatened by a single wolf is ridiculous. He would run away. There's safety in numbers...so some of the "legends" being told about someone getting attacked by a wolf---I say NO WAY. Didn't happen. Lone wolves won't attack--they run. Only packs will stay and fight. Mother wolves may be the exception...

wow mong! love the picture and reminds me so much of my days riding show hunters and jumpers - the wolf has great form with front legs up in a nice tuck and the back slightly rounded to follow through (oops, sorry bout that, lol), sometimes i just revert back to checking out form like was drilled into us with our horses.
