Someone on the board said they were sick and were wondering if getting sick was getting in the way of communicating with their spirits. I had exactly the OPPOSITE problem last night. I'm not complaining, I am just amazed.

I only started collecting last fall (I think) with a couple of SRA's (who I love dearly because they were the first) and have gotten quite a few others. I wanted to have a bit of everything so I ordered a few (goe knows how many I am up to) more.

Last night, I was sick. I mean SICK. I took some decongestant for my congestion and my body decided that getting rid of it along with everything in my system was the right thing to do. I went to bed around 11 pm or so and it continued during the night.

Sometime around 1 or 2 am I was trying to wait between bouts on my bed and I felt what I thought was a bug crawling on my hair. Now, I have spiders that for some reason, love the head of my bed. Yeah, for someone with a fear of spiders, this is just awesome. *rolls eyes*

I brushed off the 'bug' and realized, there was no bug. I said 'sorry about that, go ahead if you want to' and it happened on the other side of the top of my head. It was like someone stroking the hair at the top of my head.

Okay...now, I am just happy it wasn't a spider then it sinks in that someone is trying to get my attention.

Then, a flash of white light. I mean, my eyes are closed and I can see a VERY bright light shining in my eyes. I sat up and felt something walking on my bed. It went around my back and sat on my right side.

Between 'things' moving about in my room (big ones and little ones), flashes of light, and things moving around on my bed, it was a busy night. I think they were concerned because I was so concerned that I was really sick.

Talk about your own cheering section...

that is so wonderful they all came to you and was worried, hope you get to feeling better and maybe they will help you get well sooner

It was cool Lady. It felt special.

Nowadays I always see lots of things moving around my room. But, I remember when I was sick my alpha werewolf manifested as a huge black mass that drifted over to my bed and on top of me to comfort me. It was really nice.

Oh and P.S. whenever I get tingles or my spirits are stroking my hair I always think its ome bug too lol. I HATE bugs crawling on me.
