SPIRT VESSELS - TO DRILL OR NOT TO DRILL

my marid djinn is in a beautiful stone but its not a pendant - is it ok to have a hold drilled or not? :feedback:

I'm unsure of whether drilling would affect the energy or binding, so I'll leave that to someone more familiar and just talk about the technical physical aspect.

Stone is rather difficult to drill through, especially if it's a quartz-like or harder tumbled stone. (unless you have a jeweler or someone who does lapidary in the family whom you can bribe with cookies)

I can think of four options which might work as an alternative.

A small pouch you can place the stone in and wear around your neck.

Wrapping the stone with wire.

And two that would require purchases,

Yep I do pouches here... leather ones, cotton crocheted ones, big ones little ones. Multi-pocket ones and small dainty ones. The sky's the limit that way. I know some sellers that do beautiful wire wrap work too, but for me pouches work well.

The seller generally can advice you whether drilling would affect the binding.

Since most spirit stones from CH have the option of being drilled or undrilled, I am speculating that drilling probably wouldn't harm the spirit. If not, Magnolia wouldn't be offering it if it compromises the well-being of the spirit. Just my guess.

I'm sure the stones got drilled before they became a vessels, not after.

Drilling a stone to wear it as a pendant will not harm the spirit in any way. Do be polite, and explain
to your spirit what you are doing and why. They will be more than happy to go with you everywhere, suspended on a chain
near your throat or heart chakra.

Of course, the spirit cage is another option. Do what thou wilt, shall be the whole of the law.

i thought so too. i got a cage, its ugly and too big, but hes with me and we both are happier for it. :dancing:
