i'm a big fan of cheese and deep fried corn dogs so i decided to combine them one day heh, worked out pretty good

you should use home made corn dogs for this but pre-made frozen ones work ok as well

what you need:
corn dogs
velveeta cheese block
deep fryer

if your making your own corn dogs then it would be best to put cheese under the cornmeal when making this but if your using pre-breaded then it will work on the outside as well
take the velveeta cheese and melt it in the microwave or on the stove, any way you think is best as long as it's very very much melted
dip the corndogs into the cheese and make sure they are covered entirely up to the stick
monitor the corndogs and make sure the cheese does not fall off them, do this untill the cheese begins to harden enough that you can move it around without dripping everywhere
while doing all of this have your deep fryer on and ready to go, once the cheese is done you need to take the corndogs and use whatever type of dipping tools you have for your fryer and lower the corndogs in, the cheese will fry and after a few seconds the cheese will turn brownish, just watch it and do them only one at a time and make sure you pull them out as soon as the cheese turns brown and you will have a crispy cheesy corndog

i've only made this twice but it's turned out great both times(at first they may burn you just need to figure out the correct timing for your fryer as they can vary)

i just tried this today

if you want you can add things like garlic powder or chili powder, personally i like the chili powder because it adds a little bit of heat to it

put the seasonings into the cheese after you melt it and before you dip your corn dogs and be sure to mix it in because if you accidentally get too much of the seasonings on one it could ruin the flavor

i made some more of these today and realized something that can turn into a disaster for your cheesy corn dogs, the cheese is going to burn a little and flake some and will build up a bit of a ring around the edge of your fryer or pot you fry them in and if you arn't careful the ring of burnt cheese may stick to your cheese when it cooks and cause some problems like making the cheese taste like burnt nastiness :insane: try to avoid that unless you love burnt stuff, in which case you'll be burning the whole thing anyways so it wont even matter
