"It's a daemon"

So I was meditating tonight & began seeing white shades (as I do, weird?). Anyway, I keep seeing this specific face and I was wondering what it was when I heard, "it's a daemon". Fantastic.
What do I do with this?

I asked if it was wanting a home. I asked if it can follow the rules. I asked that it be escorted out if not (lol).
Unbound spirits who are not TEAM members are not allowed in the house. Yet this one was. I really don't know what to make of this!
No, I don't feel threatened but have been reading that daemons can pretend, manipulate, etc. Don't you think my other spirits would know if that was the case? Even wondering if my Einherjar brought him over, being a dead hero & all.

I do have some VERY protective spirits.
Any suggestions?

Daemons are spirits of fallen heros and while ranked as da are generally not manipulators or tricksters in my experience.
If you are talking about DEMONS then thats another story. In any event I would seek advice from Ash with an HD ticket. Good luck.

Daemons also help in communicating with Immortals. I have one and he is absolutely fabulous. He has been very helpful in aiding my work with deities.

Do you have any Dark Arts spirits? If so they may be playing a prank

I see shades all the time and faces, some are quite scary. Last night I saw two shadow figures hovering over my door and they had green eyes. I was also thinking of demons before I opened my eyes and saw them :lol:

If it is a demon or some malicious little bugger, you'd know. You'd feel dread, a dark energy, feelings of being watched (not in a good way)..

If you don't have any dark arts spirits, it may be that one is calling to you or its an unbound. Like Phoenix said Daemons are spirits of fallen warriors, however the word is also used for enlightened spirits; the the Christian church bastardized it to become demons.

i agree there is a big difference between a "demon" and a "daemon" and the latter should pose no issues to a keeper at all since they are the spirits of fallen warriors and crikey i have many spirits of warriors here. fallen warriors i always show immense respect to because they fought and died valiantly for their beliefs and homelands. :grouphug:

Yes, I do have DA. In fact I see it normally when I'm meditating w/ my Marid Djinn! It didn't scare me... not at all uncomfortable (until I read some posts). Hmmm... could she be the culprit or perhaps be showing me something else?

I should submit a ticket to Magnolia & Ash. I just really don't want to bother them.

They're very active on the forum and might give insight sooner or later.

DA love to be tricky, especially if their human keeper knows nothing about them. It's their way of establishing territory, from my personal experience. A daemon is simply a warrior spirit that passed, they can be dark but not like demons are.

Daemons actually make nice companions, I think I'll want one once I get more Immortal bindings.

Daemons and Demons are the same thing.

Daemon is the original wording, before being bastardized by the church. There are 2 different types of Daemons: Agatho Daemons (good), Kako-Daemon (malicious).

Yes, that is true. However, at CH we tend to use the word demon for Kako's and daemon for Agatho's. Agathos are human warriors fallen in battle who have direct communication with gods and spirits, which is why one would want to keep a Daemon.
