Tenured-only PMing...why? (Sugggestion)

I know a lot of members who are not tenured, but are good participants to the forum (like myself)

Why can't it be something like 50+ posts grants PM access? We'd know if they were a spammer or troll by then.

I want to talk to members in private on occasion, but I can only message tenured members, and I have to be tenured myself.

Definitely agree. It kills when tenured members send me messages and I can't read them. >.< And 6 months is a loooong time. But that's alright, I guess.

I still have one PM from Casey in my inbox that I'm not yet authorized to read... it's not of any importance though anyway :lol:

Aha, it was to get you back on the forums.

And even though I am now tenured, I still think newbs should get the PM privilege too.

Not that I'd be PM-ing everyone but I have wished once or twice I had the opportunity to do so. There might be a particular member one would feel most comfortable with and trust enough to confide in or ask advice on a personal matter without having to post publically.

Tenureship, I believe. But I love yours, it makes me think of the SpongeBob character. :lol:

Oh fluid'on.. I never watch SpongeBob and I have no idea which character you are referring to..

For screen names I generally use The Flying Dutchman or Blond Viking, at least recently.
I think when I get tenured I'm gonna change it to Morbid.

Hey---I'm tenured and I'm still fighting to be able to PM!!!!!!!! (along with other tenured members!!) You guys, I do sympathize with, but you need to stand in line........
