When you create servitors, what tasks do you give them? I usually make mine for revenge.

Just a survey, seeing as almost everything else on servitors has been covered in this forum.

I don't make sentient servitors, only simple constructs. For those, I make psi-balls programmed to be 'fetchable' when my canid spirits are in a playful mood, and I also make temporary shields.

A removable set of wings from Zin, I use as an awesome toy.

For sentient servitors that I purchased (from Winged Wolf Psion), typically I use them as a security boost, for simple chores that they're programmed to do (anything from healing, channeling energy and so forth), and in the case of my swarm of butterflies, to A. look pretty whenever I'm sharp enough to percieve them, and B. so that anything that attacks unprovoked risks the humiliation of getting beaten up by butterflies. :lol:

Protection, mostly, though I've made a few construct items for forum members for different uses-though still waiting to see, in most cases, if those other uses have assisted as they're supposed to.

the servitors i have are under the direct leadership of the actual spirits i have such as my unit of 5 spartan warrior servitors are under the direction of king leonides and his generals and fit in with the rest of the brave 300; the black mamba servitor joins forces with the actual black mamba spirit i conjured and being a spirit of a breeding female she is fierce and vicious and so forth.

for protection i have protective spirits so servitors might be under their direction but i have no need for servitors for revenge since that all sort of gets dealt with in the end by other means through the universe.

now if i could just get a servitor to take out the damn trash all the way to the dumpster in the parking lot! ya, that would be a perfect purpose. : :grouphug:

The servitors I created helps me with magick, spells, barriers, shields, etc. He also create at defending other then that lately I haven't really given him nor his counterpart a command/mission so basically he follows me where ever I go. They is very helpful when I need him though.

Can you give Sevitors tasks like you would a Djinn, Dragon, etc. and ask them to alter events in the physical realm for you (i.e. getting a promotion at work, helping with finances, love, etc.)?

Or are they better used for things like protection?

You can ask them to do virtually anything depending on their specialty (different servitors created with different specialties) or if creating the servitor yourself - however you program them.
