This more then likely just because I'm an odd one in general, but I thought I'd ask anyways. Is there any spirit that would be associated with nursery rhymes? I keep hearing various nursery rhymes over and over in my head the last few weeks. It's odd, more so because I'm not near children or anything like that. That and that "You are my Sunshine" song...

Just because it does not work for them does not mean it will not work for you!

i would go with arkan sonneys or unicorn for the sunshine song!
do you mind sharing which nursery rhymes you are hearing?
you could always browse the CH store in the happiness/joy / section and see if anything sticks at you from that sunshine song..also maybe try their faerytale section..
lately i have been stuck on faerytales too but for me i think it's the media...shows on tv, movies, etc
cheerz,

That's possible. I've thought about an arkan sonney before!
The three that I hear most often are:
Baa Baa Black Sheep
Hickory, Dickory Dock
Hey Diddle Diddle

Let's break down the lines of Hey Diddle Diddle:
Hey Diddle diddle
The cat (Sidhe) and the fiddle
The cow (Hathor) jumped over the moon
The little dog(kitsune, pipe fox, etc) laughed
To see such sport
As the dish ran away with the spoon
:thankyou:

Looking at the encyclopedia, the Baa Baa Black Sheep could be a reference to Basque, Basa-Jaun. It could be worth checking it out to see.
Hickory Dickory Dock could possibly mean either a Coblynau, or a Spriggan. It could also represent the immortal, Celtic, Abnoba.
This is most of what I could come up with. Good luck in your search.
