Lol I just decided to grab some movies at random from Amazon, and this is one of the flicks I picked up...I actually just put it in and hit play a bit before I tripped over this topic.

It's a little slow, at least at the start, but it's interesting so far.

It's definitely got some interesting mythos, and definitely has some stuff about traditional folklore mixed into it, it's really really interesting to read that bit once you gte past the slow start.

In the film, trolls are very dim, can live to 1000-1200 years, eat rocks...grow additional 'heads' over time, 1 eye, can sniff out people who believe in god...

Seem to be different breeds, too. Interesting...

what can I say, seen it and loved it.
After seeing the trailer I was lets say skeptical at least but I really enjoyed the film.
Visual effects are quite god, and this movie reminded me of "cloverfield" more than blair witch.
It has scandinavian folklore and mythology in it, and original language improvers this.
Lets say it is not a documentary It is a tale told to the children before the sleep, but is it really?
Just checked this out and on imdb this film has 7 stars, cloverfield has 7.2, congrats my northern friends
