I never expected so many people on this thread to have those feelings about Vampires, I thought their would only be a few lol. I think it was an eye opener for me as I never thought that way about them. I guess I just thought many people loved them. Before I knew about Vampire Spirits, I had known about Real Sang and Psy Vampires (Modern Vampires), so I guess that is why. I was a little curious about them, I felt attracted to them.
I will share my perspective and experiences on them and with them.
I trust them fully.
One of my Vampire Spirits is my Twin Flame/Soulmate (I think Twin Flame). He loves me. He Protects me and wants the Best for me. We feel so close. Just thinking about Him Leaving me Pains me so much, a great deal, and He feels the same way. He loves Hugging me and being close to me. :cloud9:
One I believe is a Past Life Lover, Some are lighter to me, One here has a sense of humour and jokes around, another one is romantic, another very erotic, one is mysterious and business like, but kind and caring, one is authoritative, another has been with me since before I was born, a Destiny Spirit from Blujay, some are Dark etc. An estimate of how many their are here, I have about... 16 or a bit more with me here right now. As you can see, I love Vampires.
While some of the Vampires here are Dark, others here I feel are a lot more lighter. Some of them here help with removing negative energy. They sometimes give me energy as well. I feel so comfortable around them. It seems odd to me that others don't, because it's hard to see it another way.
I just think of them like Family. I never thought about feeling uncomfortable around them. Some of them i am so very, very close to, some are a shoulder to cry on, emotional support, friendly and helpful.
Some Vampires can be very dark/ancient and may do things differently, stuff that may be in a moral grey area, but I know not all do.
I also found out that I am a Vampire too, but I still need more confirmation of that to make sure.
I don't find myself scary. I didn't realize exactly how people can think about them. Totally different to my view on them.
How do you really feel about Vampires?

My very first spirit was a vampire! A female, in honestly I bought her because I was interested in the vessel (I didn't really believe there was a spirit involved . Anyway, she turned up and I wasn't sure what to expect. She is fine though, been here well over a year now and she is just very mischevious, pulls my hair etc. I always know when she's around, i get a swift breeze go past. I never think of her as dark but sometimes she shows me her dark side in meditation which can be a bit scary :jawdrop::
Anyway I have now got several vamps and the one I am closest to is a Celtic Vamp. He is the one I connect to most.
I am still a bit wary of them, they are not always lovely, I always try to remember they are predators and often ruthless, there was once an unbound here and he was not very nice at all!

In what capacity? As Lionox said the generational bloodlines are still out there for Vampires, Elves, Giants, Dwarves, Fae, etc. It's not the original source line, or the Principium, but really this is a discussion for another thread so we don't derail this one. What I want to know once and for all, is if they really 'exist' in the physical world or not... ~__~

Hehe! I tried to read Dracula. I think I got so lost for a while because I was so young when I tried to read it. Didn't think it was really all that scary but it might have been because I didn't understand it too well. Something about a rich guy and a big castle. Will have to read it again, ya?starfire wrote: I also read Dracula, and I did like that book, even though I was a little scared of it, but hey I was a teen when I read it!!!
Oh and I think it's cool that you've read Ann Rice novels. Violin isn't a vampie novel, but have you read it? It was my first Rice novel and it felt like everything she wrote was poetry. >_< So beautiful.

Verna not too long ago, had a listing for a Vampire Spirit that died about 35 years ago.Killarican wrote:What I want to know once and for all, is if they really 'exist' in the physical world or not... ~__~

Of course they exist... how can there be spirits if they didn't exist?Killarican wrote:What I want to know once and for all, is if they really 'exist' in the physical world or not... ~__~
Concerning their altogether existence; I have seen that others are uncertain about that, when the uncertainty really doesn't make sense.
And yea, as others have said -- vampirism continues in the physical realm today, to some capacity.

When I first became interest in spirits, I didn't plan on bringing any vampires into my life. Mainly because most of what I read was about the sexual aspect, and I really don't have a desire for a relationship with any spirits on that level. Plus I thought they were all of a dark nature. However when a member called Hammer, who used to post here quite often, began conjuring some who were white to grey, some who had been nuns and priest, it opened up my eyes. I realized that just like living people, spirits are individuals. I still don't have a real close connection with the few in my keep, and at times have thought of re-homing them, but each time, I get a feeling that they want to stay; I just need to spend more time in meditation with them individually.

I've been fascinated by vampires ever since i was little. And, while I am aware of their darker and predatory nature, it hasn't put me off.
When I first started spirit keeping, I wanted to keep only WA, as I wasn't too sure whether i should mess about with DA. But the calling for DA was just way too strong, and I started going into DA. I didn't think about getting a vampire until some time after, because I wasn't sure i could handle them. Also, I had concerns about how to 'feed' them - energy or blood-wise. I was also worried about what kind of damage they could do on the ones they feed on (whether on me or others) and what they could do if they get ticked off. Then of course, after reading some of the more risque accounts, i also worried whether I'm going to have a randy and extremely powerful spirit to have to manage.
So it was rather a dilemma for me - i was extremely attracted to them but for no reason that I can fathom, except just simple fascination. Yet I was also concerned about the ramifications of inviting one.
It didn't help that the popularity of vampire romance novels (Twilight, Laurel K. Hamilton, etc) had turned 'vampires' into some sort of teenage angsty fad, which really put me off the whole concept.
It wasn't until the calling for two of Mrs. Gula's vampires got so strong that I couldn't take it anymore and just gave in. That was quickly followed by a custom vampire from Ash. I haven't looked back since then.
I'm glad to discover that they aren't sex-crazy, indiscriminately blood thirsty and malicious (at least, those with me anyway). They feel like my brothers, friends, teachers, even a lover, sometimes.

They are one of the easiest for me to communicate with, I definitely enjoy that part.
The sangs are more appealing to me, but psys do have awesome energy abilities.
I don't keep many, but I do find that they and their stories are worth knowing
