I was wondering, when you become a master in the spiritual area, is there a certain religion you have to be? I was curious becasue I am an Atheist and I have taken a deep intrest into the paranormal. Most people say its a contradiction, but I don't believe it is. Any thoughts?

LOL. NO.

Atheism simply means "withut god"

No one needs to accept a "creator" in order to be spiritually aware of the metahysical hidden world.

Magick & Mysticism is a science of it's own.

There are plenty of atheists on this site.

IMO it is more important for someone with spiritual aspirations to break free of the limitations inherent in religion.

It really depends on how YOU define spiritualism....I see no reason why you can't be a master....but I think it is important to know/understand different belief systems and non-belief systems as well!!

This is so very true, it is a wise choice to check them all out, for in all there is a little bit of truth!!! It doesn't mean you need to pick one over all the rest!!! Take what you need and leave the rest!!! That is on the way to being a master, but of course there is more to it. you have to study a great many things and ask a great many questions, and even then you have to take what you feel is right for you!!! I hope this makes sense!!!

It would be great to work with some of the masters in this field like Ash and Magnolia, so we all do have a chance to see what they feel and think and pick their brains as it were, so you are in a good place to do that, not to mention some of the others here, who have been in this field a longtime as well!!! ;)

I totally agree with this statement also. Not until I "quit" religion several years ago, did I see significant growth in my spirituality.
